Retirement Lifestyles, My interview with David Hughes

Last week I had the pleasure of talking with David Hughes, on his program Lifestyles of the Happily Retired.   For those unacquainted with Dave, his weekly Podcast features guests who have successfully left a career and reinvented themselves.  The emphasis of these interviews is to discover what worked for these people and how the listener can apply that to his retirement journey.  Dave’s show is recorded and available in audio on his website.

Even though this is a far cry from photography, it certainly is relevant to my travel goals. Being able to travel at leisure is an exciting part of my life.  It doesn’t matter if the destination is to a place mere miles from my home.   In doing this interview I hope I’ve kindled a spark of interest in getting out and exploring the neighborhood.

Dave’s views toward retirement are for anyone who is retired or planning what life will be like when retirement finally happens. On his show he talks about the lifestyle not just the financial planning aspects of the post-career period.
